Danish Society on Maritime Medicine.


The company grew out of the collegial cooperation in maritime health, safety and prevention in Esbjerg. The purpose initially was to provide better information across the various institutions concerned with maritime safety and health in Denmark.


 Overall purpose


The company aim to promote cooperation between all those involved in health and safety in the shipping industry, fishing and offshore, such as includes medical practitioners, work environment committee in fisheries and shipping industry, research and teaching, Radio Medical and the Navy. Anyone with a professional interest in maritime medicine is welcome as members of the company.
